About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hello please give me some lights on this matter.

My colleague and I already have tickets going back to the Philippines on the 3rd of September since our employer is having a hard time renewing our z visas since the city no longer accepts Filipino teachers. However, our employer is looking for ways to keep us here. He is trting to give us students visa instead. Would it be possible ? we came here with a z visa or working visa. would it be possible to get a students visa in Luoyang China ?

I don't advise you to use student visas to work in China. This is illegal.

Thank you Ms Monica for your response. I actually told our employer that this would be illegal since we came here with a z visa andwent through legal channels but he said it's okay because according to him their are lots of students (mostly from India and South America)working partime as teachers here in China.

Ms Monica, our employer told us yesterday that the student visa thingy didn't work because there's no enough foreign students to open a class or something. Now, he moved our flight to October 16th and he said that someone is working to give us a visa. He said that there's a national company in Beijing that maybe can give us a visa so we can stay in China. We are really confused, until now we are still teaching here. Can a company in Beijing give us a visa so we can stay ?

Ms Monica, I just found out that the Beijing thing didn't work out. So now, our employer said he has found an agency that would help him give us students visa to stay in China and work in his school still. Do you think it will work out?
