Can I get my own apartment on a family visa?
I have been living in Shanghai for three years on a family visa with my daughter. I am retired and came to be with my daughter. Is it possible for me to obtain my own apartment on a family visa. My daughter has a boyfriend and they need their own space as do I. My current residency permit is registered on my daughter's rental agreement. Can I obtain my own rental agreement and permit in Shanghai?
