About:China Tourist Visa

Mainland China then Hong Kong

Hi, I am currently in China on a tourist visa and have been here for a few months, can you tell me if I can enter Hong Kong, I am a British citizen and a non-resident of Hong Kong. I believe I only need to have been in Mainland for 14 days to be able to enter Hong Kong?
