About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Hong Kong moving to China

Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen, PR of HK (3 stars on my HKID), and married to a HK citizen. If my spouse moves to China, can I apply for temporary/permanent resident status in China? Do I need to apply for a Q visa first? Help! thank you! :)

If your spouse is a Chinese citizen, you can apply for a Q1 visa first, and then change it to a temporary residence permit.
