Overstaying visa due to new testing requirements

My daughter was due to leave China on the 21st June to go to Hong Kong. On the 19th the new rule for testing for Covid-19 came in. So she got the test done on the 20th at a great cost. But then the hospital said it would take 3-5 days for the test results to come through. So she will missed 2 available flights before her visa expires. Now someone from the PSB said she can go on the 26th, the next flight and overstay her visa and would not affect her ability to get another China visa. And the test results are only valid for 7 days after the testing. I am worried that she cannot get another visa for China as we(her parents) live here.

Kym, actually I don't think it's a big issue. IF you worry about, you can ask your daughter to go to the local exit and entry administration to apply for a visa extension.
