Unfortunately, I am still here in the Philippines and my work permit and residence visa are about to expire this month.How am I able to go back to China after the border is open? My employer wants me back but she said the exit/entry bureau in Henan doesnt want to extend my permit because I dont have the TOTA exam. Can I still renew my work permit here in my country?

Marie, you can't renew your work permit in your country. In other words, if your residence permit expires, you may have to get a new visa for China after the border is open.
