Residence permit to tourist visa

Hi all,

My study residence permit is going to expire July 31st after my graduation. However, I would like to stay in China for another month (or 2) after this before I start my new job in another country. Does anyone know if it is possible to change from a residence permit to a tourist visa without leaving mainland China?

Alternatively, what other option would I have for staying for another month or two?

Yes, you can change your residence permit to a 30-day tourist visa without leaving mainland China after your study ends, but be sure to do it before your residence permit expires.
