Can I renew China Residence Permit for Foreigner while I am in USA

I have a USA passport with China Residence Permit for Foreigner which expires June 29 2020. I am in USA on business trip and unable to return to China due to Covid-19 restrictions. Can I renew the resident permit visa in the USA before it expires?

No residence permit can be renewed or extended outside Mainland China. You will need to wait and see what the government's policy will be after they lift the travel ban.
