Chengdu and Leshan

We would like to visit the Panda reserve and the Leshan Buddha in a full day, can this be done?

It would be quite rushed to visit Chengdu Panda Base and Leshan Giant Budda in one day. These two places are very popular among both Chinese and foreign people, so you need to queue for time to get into the scenic spot. Besides, the round trip high speed train between Chengdu and Leshan needs 2 hours, and you also need time to reach Leshan Giant Buddha. As a result, I suggest you arrange 2 days for your sightseeing in Chengdu and Leshan.
