my work visa expires before my flight

I am on work visa and my contract ends May 19th due to the current Covid-19 my flight on May 11th was canceled and I had to re-book a new flight on a different airline on June 2nd. Will I be arrested for trying to transit from Chongqing to Shanghai to LAX on June 1st and 2nd? or is it possible to go to the PSB and request an extension so that I can have time to work with if my flight on June 2nd is canceled as well?

Dear, according to what I know, your visa will be extended automatically for two months. You can confirm this with the local exit and entry administration.
