About:Year of the Rat

My relationship with husband and career

Hi
My hubby dob 6 aug 1978 and myself 1 oct 84. I want to restart my career after having kids now but he is not supportive.. will he change his mind? Will I get a job after a 5 yr break so far? Is 2020 the year? Will he understand that I too have dreams that are harmless and can pursue it along with family life? Most of all - am I destined for that or continue staying at home with kids?

Can someone pls answer.. I am really looking forward to some understanding and mostly to understand if my heart is right in desiring to get back to work and also manage family alongside. Husband clearly said there won’t be any support in terms of helping me in career. He clearly said if there is a need to stay by with kids falling sick or anything he won’t be able to help. He has always been at work and it’s me doing the doctor rounds and everything. So I am thinking is it ok for me to pursue my dreams..

You are suggested to restart your career. Actually you have enough abilities to achieve some successes. You should have more communication with your husband and gain his understanding. Hope helpful!

Natalie, tell your husband you love him, and the children, but you to, want a life outside of the home., he should know compromise is the key to any good marriage, so he should understand! I pray it all goes good for you, other wise, there are other wonderful people to share your life with
