Highschool Diploma

If I have highschool diploma, am I able to work in China? I also wonder how can I get work permit, do I need to apply the job in China to receive that? Basically I want to stay in China to work and I will go to the college next year of fall. I am just confusing on if I can still get work visa with my high school diploma.
