Embassy result delay

Hi! I just want to ask who among you here applied for China Visa since the virus outbreak? How many days did you wait and is there already a result? Did they approve the visa? I have been waiting for the result since February 1st week. I always call them but I always get the same answer, ”still the consul and we don’t know when will they release the result”. I just want to know your experience to see if a lot of people have the same problem with me or there’s some problem with my application. Thanks!

I saw a post also from a Filipino citizen saying that he waited for a long time to get his visa after the virus outbreak. So it might a normal case that the embassy doesn't want to issue visas. Just wait patiently.

All embassies have stopped processing visas since March 28 so you won't get a result unless you qualify for one of the humanitarian exemptions. Visiting one's spouse does not count at this point.
