About:Slender West Lake

My daughters are traveling to Melbourne on April 14,2020 their layover is in China in the airport .

They will not be leaving the airport. Do they still need a visa. They hold Malaysian international passports and are permanent residents of Canada.
Thank you

It depends on their travel routes. If they depart from Country A to China and then leave for Country C, with a layover of no more than 24 hours in China, it's very possible that they can use the 24h visa-free transit in China.
