About:10-year China Visa

Can my friend submit my visa documents to the consulate?

Hello,

I would love to do the 10-year tourist L visa without a third-party visa company, but do not live near a Chinese consular office. I do, however, have a friend in New York City that could submit my documents for me (and basically do the whole process) and then ship my passport with the visa back to me. Would this be possible, or do I need to be present in order to submit the documentation?

Thanks!

Yes, you can ask your friend to submit the documents for you. However, there is still possibility that the consular officer requires you to go to the consulate.
