Do I need a Visa, to Join a Cruise departing from Shanghai

I hold a European Union (Schengen) Passport and plan to join a Cruise, departing from Shanghai. Do I need to apply for a 24 or 72 Hours FREE Visa, to enable me to just fly into Shanghai 1-2 Days before the Cruise departs?

Alfred, actually what you mentioned is not a free visa, but the visa-free transit. If you fly from a Schengen country to Shanghai and then leave for a different country, you can enjoy the 144h visa-free transit in Shanghai.
