Tourist visa for people in Chinese 'sensitive'jobs

I understand people working in some jobs are often refused visas. Would a UK Vicar be likely to be refused a tourist visa for an organised group tour?

It would be possible if the visa you are applying for is not a group visa, although China mostly targets South Korean and American religious personnel through visa refusals and Europeans are not a big concern to them.
