I am applying for my visa but the cities of arrival and departure that I will use (Kashgar, in Tashkurgan Tajik) are not shown in the drop down selection on the form - any ideas how I get past this?You cannot manually enter a name, it deletes it automatically.

You probably don't want to mention any plans for Xinjiang or you risk having your visa refused. But if you still want to then try spelling the name in Pinyin.

Thanks. I found out from the Visa people directly that the spelling for Kashgar is actually listed as Kashi.I did not think I would have had such a quick clear response from the Visa centre, so I would recommend anyone in future makes use of the contact email.Thanks for your response.
