About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

A Transit, but going back west?

My route is,

Manchester (Man) > Paris (CDG) 4 hour layover > Chongqing (CKG)

Staying in Chongqing from April 1st to April 7th.

Chongqing (CKG) > Doha (DOH) 2 hour layover > Manchester (MAN).

I am worried that I might get refused because the layovers are short and I am heading back west. Wouldn't they raise the question, why would you transit through China to get to Doha, from the UK?

I am a British citizen with a valid passport and none of my flights have layover in China.

Nothing to worry about. Totally compliant and not unusual at all.
