About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Aus-Shanghai-Seoul-Beijing-Jeju-Japan-Aus

Hello, I hold Australian passport, am flying from Australia and arrive in Shanghai PVG on Mar 27 and taking cruise leaving 28th from Baoshan to Seoul. On 1st of April we will be in Beijing for 3 days then cruise to Jeju island and Japan afterwards where I will fly back to Australia Do I required to apply for a Visa during my short stay in shanghai and Beijing or can I apply for the 144hour visa?

South Korea-China-South Korea requires a visa. It’s not a transit to a third country.

This is not valid for visa free transit. Visa is necessary due to Korea > Beijing > Korea portion.
