About:China Business Visa

Important question

I'll be in china for businesses from March to June (3 months). However, I'll visit a friend for 3 week in Chengdu. I already applied for the L Visa (1 month) from February to March. Can I go to the embassy and ask for a M Visa now will I'm in my country? Will I have 4 months (1 + 3 months)?
I'm afraid if I'm arriving in China with 2 blank visa, they will stamp directly for both and my L visa will be useless.

Thank you for reading and trying to answer my question.

Ruben, if you apply for an M visa now, it will invalidate your L visa. So I advise you to use your L visa to enter China, and convert it to an M visa before the L visa expires at the local exit and entry administration.
