Stopover flight CZ332 at Changsha Airport

I hold a French passport and I will fly from Frankfurt FRA to Siem Reap Rep in Cambodia with a connection in Huangzhou CAN
My flight CZ332 will do a stopover in CSX. I am told that this doesn't affect my right to TWOV, once in CAN, as this is accepted by Chinese authorities as an exception. The airline customer care told me that CSX airport has a dedicated area so the Pax don't have to pass through custom. Can you please confirm? Thanks
