About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Sri Lanka to Beijing (4 days stopover ) to Toronto via Shanghai transit 2hours to change planes

Are we allowed 144 hours free stopover in Beijing?Thank you for your time. Canadian passport

Sri Lanka-Beijing-Shanghai-Canada requires a visa if you are in China for longer than 24 hours. 144 hours does not apply.
