Fire Rat and Water Rooster Compatibility

Hi I am a female fire rat (Nov. 12, 1996) and my suitor is a male water rooster(March 1, 1993).
I've read lots of reviews in different websites stating that we are not compatible. I just want to know if their are ways or chances that we might become a good match both in romance and financial aspect?
