visa for canton fair

Hi there,My boyfriend and I will be travelling to Guangzhou in May for the Canton Fair but live in Port Elizabeth where there is no China Visa Application Service Center.We will have to make a special trip to Cape Town for a couple of days to apply and collect our Visa/passport is this possible? How long does it usually take to process and issue a Visa?

Jess, you can apply for your visa at the CVASC in Cape Town. The processing time is usually 6 working days. If you need a shorter processing time, please submit the application to Johannesburg Visa Application Centre.
