Student visa re-entery without hk id

I hold a student visa valid until 2023. But, it is a single entry visa that has been completed and valid until 17/11/19. I have a flight to hong kong on the 4th of January. This is really stupid of me but I didn’t know that I had to get an hk id made, so clearly i dont have one. Will they let me through immigration?

You won't even be allowed on the plane since it's a single-entry visa with a "journey completed" stamp. Contact HK immigration through their hotline and listen to what they say.
