About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour visa

I am flying to HK from London with UK passport, staying for 5 days, then going to Beijing for 3days then back to London. Can I get the 72 hours visa at Beijing airport?

Its not a visa but a visa free transit. If you are transiting HKG airport both ways (Cathay Pacific for example) then you are not eligible for visa free transit. If you go to Beijing on Cathay and return on British Airways for example then you can do visa free transit.
