Arrive in Shanghai Terminal Cruise departure from International Airport the same day

I am a Romanian citizen. I'll arrive in Shanghai Terminal Cruise on 04 April 2020 and departure from International Airport Shanghai in the next day (< 24 h). Am I eligible for 24-hour visa-free transit (or 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit), even I do not use the same place for arrive and departure (terminal cruise vs airport)?

If your entire transit time, calculated from your scheduled arrival by cruise, until your scheduled departure by flight is less than 24 hours, you will be definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free entry and you don't need any kind of visa. Of course, I assume that you are a passenger on a cruise and not a member of the crew.

If your entire transit time is longer than 24 hours for just a minute, you will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit because Romanian citizens are eligible even for this visa free transit scheme.

Anyway, to be eligible for both 24 and 144 hour visa free transit, your cruise is not allowed to have its last port of call, immediately before Shanghai, in some mainland China port and your flight from Shanghai to some other country is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China and in the country where your cruise will have its last port of call, immediately before your arrival in Shanghai.

72 hour visa free transit has been replaced in Shanghai by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago.
