Asking about X2 visa

I plan to travel to China on X2 visa for language exchange program. Do I need to provide police clearance or bank statements?

As I am also a student, and do not use my bank account often, do I provide bank statements for my parents or it has to be my own?

In normal cases, you don't need to provide police clerance or bank statements for X2 visa application. If it's required, you can use your parents' bank statement.
