my flight is from nepal to japan with cathay dragontransit at hongkong

I hold a Nepalese passport and I am flying from Nepal to japan through cathay dragon airlines with a transit at honkong. So do I had to apply for a transit visa or I will get on arrival. The information will be very helpful ASAP. Thank you

Legally speaking Nepalis need a transit visa even when not leaving the sterile transit area. Processing time can take a month (not including the time to dispatch the visa sticker by mail) so you may need to consider a different flight itinerary.
