Hi i received my passport back with no visa in it today. They didn't even tell me it was denied

Hi.

My visa application was denied today and I was given nothing back except my passport and I was not told it was denied. Is this normal and what can I do?

I'm sorry to hear that, but this case is normal. If you worry that something is wrong with your application, you can call the CVASC.
