About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Chariya (Thai Citizen) I am not sure that Do I need the transit visa or eligle 24-Hour Transit Without Visa
My flight as below;
On 3 Jan 2020 I will fly from Bangkok to Chengdu Airport by Sichuan Airline 3U 8146 AND Stop 2.40 hrs.
After that Connecting flight to Auckland Airport (New Zealand) by Sichuan Airline 3U8909

Chariya, you don't need any kind of visa because your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Chengdu.

You will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in Bangkok that you will travel to Auckland via Chengdu using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short check of your tickets, you will be allowed to board the plane. Here you should also ask about your luggage because you will probably have to collect it upon your arrival in Chengdu and perform a recheck after that. Anyway, since I'm not certain on this detail, you will inform yourself.

Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will almost certainly have to apply for a temporary entry permit at 24 hour visa free transit counter and after that you will clear the immigration, collect your luggage and perform a recheck. After that, you will arrive at the boarding gate for your flight to Auckland.
