About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

I will be traveling from USA on Feb 11 and arrive in Beijing Feb 12

And then leave for Taipei on feb 15. In my reading this seems to comply with the 144 hour visa free but just wanted to confirm that means I do not need to get a visa and just need to bring to the airport my hotel confirmation for Beijing and my flight details arriving and leaving?

Exactly. Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area and you don't need any kind of visa. As you have written, you will print out your flight tickets and also your accommodation booking confirmation and bring them with you.

Also, you will declare at check-in in NYC that you will travel to Taipei via Beijing using 144 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit counter where you will fill out a blue form and here you will present your flight tickets and accommodation confirmation. Shortly after, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport.
