About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

Can the 15 days Visa-free be use multiple times ?

My cruise will arrive to Shanghai and departs the next day, then arrives to Tianjin-Beijing and departs after 2 days, then arrives to Dalian and departs the same day, and finally after few days in Corea and Japan, returns to Shanghai where we will take a plane to USA. Can we use the 15 day visa free 3 times for the first 3 stops, and a 24hr direct transit the last day in Shanghai?

Hello CDKING,
The ship is Westerdam from Holland America (starts in Hong Kong), so yes I'm arriving by boat. Yes, I'm planning to arrange tours with approved Chinese agencies for the 3 continuous stops in China (Shanghai, Beijing & Dalian), so my assumption was that I can use the 15 days Visa-free permit for all of them. And then, after few days, when the ship returns to Shanghai from the stops in Corea and Japan, I thought I will be able to use the 24 hour direct transfer to take the flight from Shanghai to USA. Will that be possible? I hope this clarify your questions.

Which ship are you on? Your other post seemed more confusing.
Are you arriving in Shanghai by boat?
Are you being received in Shanghai on a group tour by an approved Chinese based travel agency.
Are you then leaving china to a third country on the same boat?

Ok so you are covered by the 15 day cruise visa exemption. It will expire upon the ship leaving Dalian for Japan. For the second Shanghai entry, you are eligible for the 24/144 hour transit as long as the next airport you land in after shanghai is not also in china and is not in the same country as the last cruise port prior to Shanghai.
