A switch of visa from Z to S

My wife has been working in China already (for a year with a Z visa ) and now got no job because of the new policy. I want to switch her visa Z to S. She is in China. Is it possible to switch her visa? And do I have to certify our marriage certificate at the Chinese Embassy of my country?

Yes, it's possible to switch her visa at the local exit and entry administration. Before doing this, you need to certify your marriage certificate at the Chinese embassy of your country.
