About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour Visa do we qualify ?

Hi we fly into Shanghai on 26 March 2020 at 6:00pm leave on a cruise from BAOSHAN at 6:00pm to Seoul, South Korea. The cruise returns to China Beijing (Tianjin) port on 01 April 6:00am we are doing a 2 day tour in Beijing city then departs on 3 April AT 6:00PM for South Korea and then Japan. I am wondering if we qualify. for 144 hour visa Thanks

Since you enter and leave china through the same country (Korea) you need to apply for tourist (L) visa in advance of your trip. Depending on how you get from Australia to Shanghai, you will either need single or double entry.
