About:China Train Ticket Booking FAQ

TRAVEL WITH UNRESERVED TICKET

Hi,
Currently i found tickets from Chengdu to Leshan is unavailable for traveling date from 20 December to 23 December.
As traveling time very less between 2 cities can i board train with unreserved ticket & travel standing out side the coach?

Thank you for your inquiry.

Only passengers holding a ticket can board the train. Passengers cannot standing outside of the carriage, but there are some limited standing tickets for sale. The ticket price is the same as second class seat but passengers need to stand in second class seat carriage without seat. For your travel date, the railway company is making adjustment of the train schedule. Therefore, most trains are not on sell list at this time. You can wait some more days, the trains will back for sell later.
