Overstayed by two days and recieved an oral warning

So my situation was very foolish. I was on an x2 visa so it was valid for 180 days. I thought I hit the 180 days, but I miscounted. It was a foolish mistake and Exit and Entry at Tianjin gave me an oral warning with no fine. I overstayed by two days, they knew it was a genuine mistake and they knew how sorry I was. I want to reapply for another x2 visa. They didnt seem angry or give me any hard time. So is it possible to reapply for a visa? Thanks for any help. I know it was a stupid mistake.

That is at the embassy or consulate's discretion, although people with overstay records generally cannot apply for their next visa outside their country or citizenship.
