How long should I wait for my passport to be released

Hi, I was being hold in Chinese embassy last month, they doubted my intention of entering China because of the frequency of my visit and also because i worked in China because so they are thinking that I might work or do some part time job interview China. then I reapplied visa this December 3, 2019. They said that I need to go back to the embassy to get my passport on December 6. I did go back but they said that my passport is in the customs, and I just need to wait for their call to know when will I get my passport. How long should I wait?

I have no idea. You need to contact the embassy to ask.

Did you get your passport? Did they grant you a visa? I am also waiting for a call for how many days now.

I’m also waiting for my visa for almost 3 months. It was applied December 2019 also. And the embassy said that they will just call. I visited the embassy last week and the officer told me to send email to the embassy. We keep sending emails but still no response. I don’t know how long it will take to get the visa
