Transit Visa?

Hello, I hold a Indian passport, however I am a Permanent Resident of Canada. I am travelling from India to Toronto, and the connecting flight has a layover of 9 hrs in Hong Kong on onward flight to Toronto and 15 hrs of layover in Hong Kong while coming back to India from Toronto, do I need to have a transit visa.

You do not if you will be staying in the sterile transit area. If you need to leave the transit area for whatever reason, you need to either complete the pre-arrival registration (PAR) online, or get a HK visa if your PAR is rejected which can take a month plus mailing time.
