About:Macau Visa Policy

Visa

I'm flying to Shanghai for 2 days then to Macau for 1 day then back to Shanghai for my flight back out. I'm US citizen. Do I need either a Chinese Visa (72 hour rule) or a Macau visa?

You don't need a visa for Macau for visits less than 90 days. You can also take advantage of 144-hour visa-free transit in Shanghai if Shanghai is your only stop in Mainland China.
