Hello,

I am a Moroccan student in Hong Kong and I would like to travel to China for the Chinese new year. I hold a Moroccan passport and an HKID. Do I need a visa to cross the border and go to China ?

You need a visa and since you have HKID, you are advised to apply for a long term visa, hopefully even multiple entry, at The Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
