About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

17hours layover in Guangchou Baiyun Airport(CAN)

Hi, there are 4 of us (family members) who are flying back home from USA (JFK) to Malaysia and transit in Baiyun Airport for 17hours. We have booked hotel nearby the airport for 1 night stay before our departure flight the next morning. We are Malaysian passport holders/citizen. Therefore, we wanted to know if we need 24Hours Transit Visa and what are the process involved? Thank you!

Unfortunately Malaysian citizens are not eligible for any kind of visa free transit scheme at the time being. You are advised to apply and obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance. Sorry.
