About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Phuket - Chengdu 21 houres layover time

Hi, Im Czech and will be going from Phuket to Prague and stopping for a 21 hour layover in Chengdu China. Is it possible for me and my 3yrs old son to get 24hour visa free on our arrival. I would like to spend the time at a hotel to rest.

The most important detail is that your itinerary is eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa.

You should print your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will book your hotel or obtain an accommodation through your airline and have a confirmation printout with you. You will declare at check-in in Phuket that you will travel to Prague via Chengdu using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection of your tickets, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon landing in Chengdu, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for free for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport and to stay in your accommodation. This permit will be granted to you.
