About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

Flying from Tokyo to Beijing, then to Phuket

I am a U.S. passport holder and intend on flying from Tokyo to stay in Beijing for a little less than 96 hours and then flying straight to Phuket, Thailand. Am I able to use the 144-hour visa free transit?

yes as long as there are no other Chinese flight connections outside Beijing
