About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can we apply multiple for 24 hour TWOU?

Hi, I am from India and last October 2019 I booked a ticket for NewZealand - India - NewZealand via AirChina and there was a layover for 15 hours, so I received a hotel stay from airlines and at the airport, I applied for 24 hours on arrival visa.

Now, I have to catch a return flight in December 2019 for NewZealand via AirChina. And again I have a long layover in Beijing and the airline has given me hotel reservations. So, now am I eligible for 24 hours TWOU again? OR I have to apply for a china visit visa from India to use my hotel reservation.

Please advise me.

Regards.

Actually, if your layover is less than 24 hours long, counting from your scheduled arrival in Beijing, until your scheduled departure from Beijing, you will do exactly as you have done the last time and you will be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit or in other words don't need any kind of visa. Also, like the last time, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit where you will apply for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport and to enjoy your hotel accommodation provided by an airline.

By the way, if your itinerary has some additional landings within China, you should know that your entire transit time in China should not be longer than 24 hours to be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. If you are a bit insecure, you can present your flights here and we will offer you a correct and reliable answer.
