About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Validity period

Hi, does the validity date of the visa only need to cover the entry date into China? For example if I was issued a 3 month tourist visa on 20th January, and enter China before 20th April, but stay until outside of the 3 month period, is this allowed? Or does my entire stay need to be within the 3 month validity period. Thanks

The three month validity only needs to cover the entry date into China. That means you can go to China before April 20th, and stay for a full stay duration allowed by the visa.
