About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

What is the chance that my 72 hour visa free transit application get turn down

My itinerary with 3 days in Guangzhou:

US - Japan - Guangzhou (United Airline)
Guangzhou - Taiwan (EVA Airline)

I believe I am eligible for 72 hour visa free transit and have all required documents. Would you recommend that I get the regular VISA to be safe or the 72 hour visa free transit?

Unless you have overstayed your Chinese visa or entry permit in the past 5 years, or have a connection with Pakistan by birth or descent, then your chance of being refused is very low. Keep in mind that if you have overstay records or a Pakistani connection then it is equally hard for you to get a visa.

Also, it is 144 hour visa free transit because 72 hour visa free transit has been discontinued in favor of 144 hour TWOV in May of this year.
