China second Visa. Hello, what does it mean "Permitted to stay until 03 DEC 2019 this time"?

Hello, I am writing you from Suzhou, I am here with an X2 visa. As it has only one entry, and I want to visit Hong Kong (November 29 - December 2), I've applied for a second visa. This new one, with a single entry, it is valid for entry by 2020.01.05, with a duration of stay of 35 days, and that's ok for me, as I will fly back to my own country December 6. The problem is that under "observations" it is written "Permitted to stay until 03 DEC 2019 this time", and I really don't understand it. Does it mean that to use my new visa I have to leave China before December 3? In this case it is ok (I fly to Hong Kong November 29), but my flight back to China is December 2, one day before! Or does it mean that my old visa will expire on December 3? I really don't get it. Thank you in advance for your help!

If the English version says that then just go back to the EEA and tell them they have made a mistake. End of duration of stay should never be later than a visa's "enter before" date.

Dear John, thank you for your reply. And what if I change my flight back from Hong Kong to Shanghai from December 2 to December 4, in order to re enter China later than December 3?

Depends on where your school is and your flight route, you may be eligible for 72/144-hour transit. Why not just go to the EEA instead? It is they who made the mistake.

Ok, actually I went back to another visa center, I have been told that I have to leave before December 3: after that it doesn’t matter when I come back in China (of course I have to come back before 2020.01.05 as in the visa), what’s important is that from the moment I am back again I have 35 days to leave again. How does it sound? It seems it could work.
