About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

visa free transit

my flights are from toronto canada, to detroit usa, to beijing for a 2 hour layover and then xiamen for a 22 hour layover ( which i would like to visit with travel visa, and then off to melbourne australia.

can I obtain a visa-free transit permit to explore xiamen??

Taylor, be careful about your layover hours. If they are more than 24 hours, you will need to get a transit visa. If not, you can enjoy the 24h visa-free transit in China. Note that you also need to include the flight time from Beijing to Xiamen. Therefore, I think you may stay for more than 24 hours in China and need a transit visa. With it, you are allowed to explore Xiamen.
